Akame ga Kill!

Akame ga Kill! is a 2014 anime series based on the manga series of the same name by Takahiro and Tetsuya Tashiro. The series was directed by Tomoki Kobayashi and produced by White Fox. The series aired in Japan from July 5, 2014 to December 20, 2014. The series was licensed by Sentai Filmworks in North America.

The story revolves around Tatsumi, a young villager who travels to the Capital to raise money for his home only to find out that it is a corrupt place where the strong prey on the weak. He meets a group of assassins known as Night Raid who recruit him to help them fight against the corrupt government.

The series was well received by critics and was praised for its dark and gritty story, interesting characters, and fluid animation.
