Arifureta: From Commonplace to World's Strongest

Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest is a Japanese light novel series written by Ryo Shirakome and illustrated by Takaya-ki. It began serialization online in 2013 on the user-generated novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō. It was acquired by Overlap Bunko in 2014. A manga adaptation with art by RoGa began serialization in 2015 in the seinen manga magazine Monthly Comp Ace. An anime television series adaptation by White Fox aired from July 8 to September 30, 2019.

The anime tells the story of Hajime Nagumo, a high school student who is transported to a fantasy world along with his classmates. There, he is tasked with defeating the demon king and saving the world. However, things do not go as planned and Hajime must find his own way to become the strongest hero. Along the way, he makes allies and enemies, and discovers the truth about the world he is in.
