Assassination Classroom

Assassination Classroom is a Japanese anime series that follows the students of Class 3-E of Kunugigaoka Junior High School as they attempt to assassinate their homeroom teacher, an alien octopus-like creature named Koro Sensei, before he destroys the planet. The series was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine from July 2012 to March 2016, and was collected into 21 tankōbon volumes. The series has been licensed for English-language release by Viz Media. An anime adaptation by Lerche aired in Japan from January to June 2015. A live-action film adaptation was released in Japan in March 2016.

The anime follows the story of a group of students who are tasked with assassinating their teacher, who has the power to destroy the world. The students must use their knowledge and skills to kill their teacher before he can carry out his plan.
