Gugure! Kokkuri-san
Gugure! Kokkuri-san is a 2014 anime television series based on the manga series of the same name by Midori Endo. The series follows the daily life of Kohina Ichimatsu, a little girl who summons a fox spirit named Kokkuri-san to help her with her everyday needs. However, Kokkuri-san ends up becoming more of a bother than a help, as he constantly tries to play matchmaker between Kohina and his fellow spirits.
The story of Gugure! Kokkuri-san follows the daily life of Kohina, a little girl who summons a Kokkuri-san, a fox spirit, from the other world. The Kokkuri-san takes on the role of Kohina’s guardian, and although he is supposed to be a scary spirit, he is actually very kind and caring. Throughout the series, the Kokkuri-san and Kohina are joined by other spirits, and together they all live in Kohina’s house. The series is episodic in nature, and each episode focuses on the Kokkuri-san and Kohina’s daily life and the various hijinks they get up to.
