Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions!

Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions! is a Japanese light novel series written by Torako and illustrated by Nozomi Ōsaka. The series includes eight novels published by Kyoto Animation between March 2011 and December 2014, two additional novels published in February 2015 and April 2015, and a manga adaptation by Miku Hatsune. An anime television series adaptation by Kyoto Animation aired in Japan between October 2012 and March 2013. The story follows Rikka Takanashi, a girl who suffers from chūnibyō, a Japanese term for the delusional belief that one has supernatural powers.

The story revolves around a high school girl named Rikka Takanashi, who suffers from chūnibyō syndrome, a form of adolescent delusions which makes her believe that she has superpowers. She meets a boy named Yūta Togashi, who also suffers from chūnibyō and used to be known as the “Dark Flame Master”. The two help each other come to terms with their delusions and grow closer together as friends.
