Saint Seiya

The Saint Seiya anime is a Japanese anime series based on the Saint Seiya manga series written and illustrated by Masami Kurumada. The anime series was produced by Toei Animation and aired on TV Asahi from 1986 to 1989. It consists of 114 episodes.

The basic story of the anime Saint Seiya is that a group of five young boys, known as the “Saints”, are chosen by the goddess Athena to protect her from evil forces. The Saints are named after the constellations they represent, and they each wear a powerful armor known as a “Cloth” which is associated with their constellation. The Saints must train hard to master their Cloths and use their powers to defend Athena. As the story progresses, the Saints face off against a variety of enemies, including the other Olympian gods, and eventually discover the true nature of their mission.
