Undefeated Bahamut Chronicle
The Undefeated Bahamut Chronicle anime is a 24-episode anime series that was produced by A-1 Pictures and directed by Tetsuya Kawakami. The series aired from January 8 to March 26, 2014 on Tokyo MX and other stations in Japan. The series is licensed in North America by Funimation.
The story is set in the world of Bahamut, a realm where the gods battled each other to determine the fate of humankind. After a long war, the gods created humans and left them to their own devices. Centuries later, humans have forgotten the gods and their war, but they continue to battle one another in a ritual known as the Selection Games.
The anime’s protagonist is Claska, a young girl who dreams of becoming the next Bahamut queen. When she learns that her kingdom is in danger, Claska sets out on a journey to save her people. Along the way, she meets a group of friends who help her to learn about her powers and the world she lives in.
The Undefeated Bahamut Chronicle anime is based on the light novel series of the same name written by Reki Kawahara.
